Solid junior class paces volleyball team; Westerners start year playing really well, in ‘midseason form’

After the Akron-Westfield volleyball team played its season-opening matches on Aug. 22, Robyn Van Eldik made a bold statement to her players.

The sixth-year head coach was thrilled with the way they played and even went as far as saying her team is in midseason form.
