Barry Knapp, 76, of Westfield, Iowa passed away Monday, July 21, 2014 at his home near Westfield.

A Memorial Service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 26, 2014 at the Westfield Congregational Church in Westfield. Visitation with the family present will be from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Saturday and following the service, all at the church. The Carlsen Funeral Home – Schroeder Chapel in Akron is in charge of arrangements.

Barry Epperson Knapp was born October 11, 1937 near Westfield, Iowa, the son of Ivyl and Helen (Epperson) Knapp. Barry attended country school near Westfield and later graduated from Westfield High School in 1955. Following high school, he attended college at Iowa State University before attending medical school at the University
