Duane Benedict Kratochvil of Tucson, AZ, passed away May 29, 2016, in Tucson. Military graveside services were held July 11, 2016, in Phoenix, AZ.

Duane was born Oct 7,1930, to Ben and Catherine Kratochvil in Pierce, NE. He attended school at Edward Ring & Williams Country Schools and graduated from Alcester High School. Duane enlisted in the U.S. Navy where he trained as an electrician. After serving four years, he moved to San Francisco, CA.

Duane married Ruby Adcock in 1957. They lived in California, Nevada, and Arizona, where he did electrical work. They had four children together. In 1980 Duane married Marion Dirk and lived in Tucson for 34 years.
