Winter comes with a vengeance

On Saturday, the area received its second snowfall of the 2014-2015 winter season. About 3 inches blanketed the area by midnight Saturday. This was followed by below zero temperatures the rest of the weekend with forecasts for the below freezing (32 degrees) to continue throughout this week. But come Saturday, forecasters are predicting highs in the 30s. Akron’s first snowfall was Monday, Nov. 10 and was just a dusting.
