A-W Readers Theatre: State Speech Champs

State champs.

Not in football, softball or another sport.

It’s Large Group Speech and it’s the first time ever that an A-W Large Group Speech team has brought home the highest state honor.

The Readers Theatre team of Nick Schnell, Jordan Neubrand, Cameron Wahlberg, Makayla Swancutt and Charlie Anderson performed “Making Choices” at the All-State Large Group Speech Festival on Saturday.

They won the “Outstanding Performance of the Day” and were presented the prestigious Critic’s Choice Award.

As the winner, Coach Susan Anderson and the Large Group Speech Team brought home a banner, signifying this honor, to hang
