Couple exchanges vows

Madison Lynn Rippe of Auburn, Neb., and Christopher Brian Hasenbank of Elk Point, S.D., exchanged wedding vows and celebrated their Holy Matrimony on Saturday, November 25, 2017, at 4:30 p.m. in Auburn, Neb.

Parents of the happy couple are Daniel and Linda Rippe of Auburn, Mike Hasenbank of Elk Point, and Jo Trobaugh of McCook Lake, S.D. The bride’s grandparents are Helen Labanowski and the late Joseph Labanowski of Omaha, Neb., and the late Herschel and Edus Rippe of Aurburn. The grooms’ grandparents are Joyce and the late Wilbur Hasenbank of Westfield, Iowa, and the late Glenn and Priscilla Groethe of Elk Point, S.D.

The wedding took place at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Auburn. The Maid of Honor was Chelsea Johnson and the Best Man was Jonathan Hasenbank. The bride’s attendants were Chelsea Christensen, Christine Waites, Erica Peterson, Brooke Manning, Jordan Broady, Rachel Rippe, and Devan Penfield. The groom’s attendants were Mitch Rippe, Kyle Limoges, Troy Donnelly, Michael Nebelsick, Andrew Trudeau, Cole Irwin, and Justin Pederson. The Flower Girl was Blair Staniszewski and the Ring Bearer was Easton Staniszewski. Ushers for the ceremony were Neil Staniszewski and Brad Kelley. A reception followed the ceremony at the American Legion in Johnson, Neb.

Madison is a graduate of Bryan College of Health Sciences in Lincoln, Neb., with her RN and BSN. She is employed as a registered nurse at Nemaha County Hospital in Auburn.

Christopher has his Bachelors of Civil Engineering from South Dakota State University in Brookings, S.D. He is employed with the Nebraska Department of Transportation as a Civil Engineer.

The happy couple now resides in Johnson, Neb.
