Students and staff of Akron-Westfield were recently asked, “What is your favorite school memory?”

Mrs. Colleen Westergard, Speech and Language Arts teacher, said her favorite memory was “When the entire elementary made a giant snowball on the playground over the entire winter.”

Keira Hillrichs, a freshman, enjoys, “Seeing Kent Johnson in the hallways.”

Sam Frye, a freshman, responded “I enjoy talking to my friends, and that is my favorite school memory.”

Mrs. Julie Bundy said she “went to kindergarten in a two room school-house in Craig. There were 5 kids in my class including me. I am still best friends with one of the girls I went to school with.”

Jordan Rabey’s favorite school memory is “Being crown bearer for homecoming while in kindergarten.”

Mr. Mike Allner has had many favorite memories, but his favorite school memory is “Being a member of a state tournament basketball team.”

Alexander Von Hagel, a senior, said, “Prom is my favorite high school memory.”

Freshman Bryce Stowe’s favorite school memory occurred in second grade, “We had a sub and Haden and I couldn’t stop laughing, and we got in trouble.”
