Kristian Porter was the leading rusher as University of Sioux Falls beat Southwestern Minnesota State, 44-22, Sept. 29 in a Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) football game in Sioux Falls.
Porter rushed 10 times for 97 yards with a long run of 49 yards.
With the win, the Cougars stayed unbeaten on the season with a 5-0 overall record, 1-0 NSIC South Division games.
Porter is a West Sioux High School alumnus and a senior at USF. Teammate Jared Vlotho, an offensive lineman, is also a senior and from Hawarden.
USF will play at Winona State, Minn., at 6 p.m. Oct. 6 in a NSIC South game.
