The freshmen members of the Akron-Westfield FFA chapter attended a greenhand fire up camp in Orange City, IA on October 1, 2012.

Members that attended the camp included Hannah Zahner, Trevor Richter, Spencer Wardrip, Matt Toben, and Sam Johnson. Members were given the opportunity to learn more about the leadership opportunities that the FFA can provide to a person at a young age. All kids attended multiple stations where they were given different examples of leadership in the FFA. A meal of pizza and beverages was also provided for those attending.
