The Akron-Westfield Junior and Senior High Choirs’ annual fall concert will be on October 18, at 7:30 PM at the Akron-Westfield School auditorium.

Nearly 120 students will be performing several traditional and contemporary songs at the concert. The junior high choir will sing three songs, the senior high will sing six songs, and both groups will sing one song together, which they have been practicing since the beginning of the school year (August 23, 2012).

After being asked “Why do you feel people should attend the concert,” Mr. Ryan Schuknecht, – the school’s music teacher, said “People should go to the concert to hear the students of Akron-Westfield sing some challenging, fun, and entertaining music.”

Tickets will cost $2 for adults and $1 for students. The money raised will go towards the music department, which the music department will use to buy music and pay various concert fees.
