What should a student do when someone picks on him or her? Or starts rumors? Is it really bullying if there is no physical contact?

Bullying and Social Aggression will be the topic of a presentation by Balance Education Service’s Mike Dreiblatt on Wednesday, Nov. 7 from 6:30 p.m.-8:00 p.m. in the Akron-Westfield Community School auditorium.

Mike is the author of the book, How to Stop a Bully and Social Aggression, and is a well-known Bully Prevention speaker. Students and staff will get to work with Mike in workshops during the school day and will do many role playing activities.

Parents will receive a seven-page informational pamphlet and will learn their role in handling bullying and how they can help their children be assertive and effectively respond to a bully.

The assembly is free of charge and all are welcome! Hope to see you there!
