Mid-Sioux Opportunity of Remsen offered Akron-Westfield second and third-graders dental sealants on Oct. 26 at A-W Elementary School. Tanya Vanbarnot and Tina Olson give Kadynce Ford, a second grader, the sealants. It is part of the I-Smile program from the state, Iowa Department of Public Health Bureau. The service has been offered for A-W students for several years.
