On Tuesday, November 12 the AW high school met during Success Time for the tapping ceremony of new National Honor Society members.

New NHS members were tapped by current members, and then a short biography about each student’s activities in school and the work they have done in and around the community was read.

The 14 new members inducted were: Robyn Peinke, Olivia Parks, Jaclyn Smith, Mariah Grimm, Katie Black, Kayla Tindall, Dana Hedlund, Eliza Kjar, Bethany Eastman, Alex Foley, Chet Willer, Maggi Liebetrau, Emily Meerdink, and Sarah Schroeder.

A ceremony was held at 7 p.m. in the auditorium that same evening to officially induct the new members, during which current members lit candles signifying the different components of the National Honor Society.

Returning NHS members include: Taylor James, Cory Eskra, Jayde Ostermyer, Carla Robinson, Emily Miller, Kyle Schroeder, and Adam Kroksh.
