National History Day work begins

National History Day work has begun for AW Middle School students.

At present, the students are deciding on a topic under the theme “Turning Points in History” and starting their research, either as a group or as an individual.

Many middle school students are involved in NHD this year. By grade, they are:

8th Grade: Austin Allard, Charlie Anderson, Skyler Briggs, Eric Cottrell, Michael Ford, Ben Liebetrau, Daniel Martinsen, Nick Schnell, Mikayla Swancutt, and Cameron Wahlberg.

7th Grade: Max Anderson, Kiana Appley, Brady Bergman, Kammi Bishop, Damien Ericson, Cody Hillrichs, Quentin Hoffer, Allison Jurgensen, Emmy Knuth, Laken Mullinix, Jordan Neubrand, Danika Smith, Courtney Waterbury, Rose Witt, and Christian Wolthuizen.

6th Grade: Joshua Armstrong, Taylor Heeren, Nash Lininger, Natasha Peinke, Autumn Stowe, Chase Stowe, Dominic Trobaugh, Brynn Van Eldyk, and Marlene Zamora.
