The FFA held their annual Christmas meeting and party Sunday, December 2.

At the meeting it was discussed whether or not the AW FFA should accept two grants.

The first grant was from the Pioneer company for a project within our school to promote agriculture. The second was a grant from Food For America to package meals for the hungry. It was decided that the grant from Food For America would be pursued.

Gifts that were bought for the Mid Sioux family, which the FFA adopted through Christmas time, were wrapped and will be sent soon, along with the canned food from the FFA’s fundraiser.

The group of kids who attended the 2012, 212 degree leadership camp gave feedback to the group, which overall was positive.

After the meeting the FFA held their annual Christmas party which consisted of watching a movie and eating from the dessert bar that the members had put together.
