In the independent Study Art Class at Akron Westfield, seniors Cory Eskra and Jaclyn Smith have started work on a new art project, a 3D version of the Akron-Westfield Westerner logo.
The students originally began work about three and a half weeks ago as a project for the class.
The students began by making a wire frame of the mascot. Then they began to cover it in tinfoil. After that, they plan to cover it with paper mache.
Jaclyn and Cory plan to have the project done within the week.
