The Akron Westfield Middle School Basketball Team played the Hinton Blackhawks December 7 at home.

The eighth grade lost their game by a score of 23-44.

Leading the scoring for the Westerners were Riley Dennison with six points, Austin Allard with five points, and Luke Hummel with five points.

The seventh grade team lost their game by a score of 19-52.

Damien Ericson was the leading scorer for the seventh grade with 11 points.
