The year, 2012, will go down in the Legacy Financial LLC’s history books as a great year, according to company founder Chad Ericson.
Legacy Financial LLC, located at 321 Reed St., has entered into a partnership with Heritage Bank in Sioux City. Heritage Bank has two locations serving Sioux City, one in Morningside and the other is located downtown.
“In August, I signed a partnership agreement with Heritage Bank,” Ericson told The Akron Hometowner. “Although my business is completely separate from Heritage, I’ll be meeting clients there several times a week and I’m looking forward to continuing to grow my business.”
“It’s really a situation where the clients of the bank and my business can benefit because we’re working together,” he said. “I’m excited to have this new avenue and hoping this will really help facilitate the growth I’m looking to experience for my firm. I have some pretty lofty goals.”
To help achieve those goals, Ericson has hired an administrative assistant for his Akron office. Hollie (Frerichs) St. Pierre, an Akron-Westfield Class of 2002 alumnus, just moved back to Akron with her husband, Adam, and their son, Ben. They are expecting their second child.
“We’ve seen tremendous growth this year, which is one of the reasons we needed to add staff,” said Ericson. “I’m happy to have her. It’s going to allow me to serve my clients better. My response will be a lot quicker to my clients’ needs and she’s really here to help me facilitate that and make sure my clients are taken care of.”
“We want to step up the client experience,” said Ericson. “I’m anticipating next year will be even better. We have a lot of great things happening here.”
Ericson opened Legacy Financial LLC at his Akron home in 2004, and with its success, moved to Akron’s downtown business district in 2008.
Legacy Financial LLC offers investment management and assists with estate planning, tax planning and life insurance options.
The Akron office is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Hollie will be in the office all five days. Ericson will be meeting with clients in Sioux City by appointment at Heritage Bank.
“We’re looking for new clients,” said Ericson. “I think my clients appreciate what I do for them, the assistance I give them and the advice I provide.”
“We’re here to help people solve their financial problems,” he said. “People need to understand we do operate differently here, and I firmly believe that we do what’s in the clients’ best interest. We work hard for our customers. I’m always trying to find a better way for my clients to achieve their goals and dreams.”
“This business is going to continue on its successful path,” said Ericson, “and we want as many people from around this area to participate as possible and make us more successful.”
“When I started this business, I hoped we could develop a business that was successful, sustainable and scaleable,” he said. “We are achieving those things.”
