West Sioux girls’ basketball team dropped a hard-fought 55-53 War Eagle Conference clash at South O’Brien in Paullina Jan. 22.
The Lady Falcons’ overall record was 10-6 after the loss.
Jade Lynn Vlotho led the visitors with 20 points.
It was the Lady Falcons’ third straight loss.
In another game
West Sioux lost to Alcester-Hudson, 58-53, in non-conference play on Jan. 15.
Vlotho led the way with 21 points and eight rebounds. Bailey VanDenBerg had 17 points as she made four three-point baskets. Carissa Anderson netted nine points.
The Cubs led 33-18 at halftime before the Lady Falcons won the third quarter, 24-13, to key a more competitive second half.
