WS girls get playoff home game

The West Sioux girls’ basketball team, ranked No. 10 in Class 1A, drew a first-round bye in the Iowa High School Girls Athletic Union post-season pairings.
The Lady Falcons, 10-5 overall record, will host the Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn against Remsen-St. Mary’s Feb. 7 winner at 7:00 p.m., Feb. 12.
The winner will play at Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn at 7:00 p.m., Feb. 15 against the Hawks.
The regional final is at 7:00 p.m., Feb. 18 in Sioux Center.
