The Akron Opera House’s annual “We’ve Got Talent!” show will be presented this weekend, Feb. 22 and 23 at 7:30 p.m.

There will be a great line-up of local talent for your pleasure which will include some old favorite performers and some new faces, too.

The program will include dancing by the Depot Dancers, including a solo dance, a duet dance by Annie Solberg and Alison Kjar, and two different large groups of dancers.

Allison Schoenfelder and Fran O’Toole will be back with a piano and clarinet duet.

Solo numbers will be performed by Joe Feauto, Dave Olson, Spencer Frankl, Wayne Blum and Amy Linder.

Groups singing for our audience will include Orville and Denny Feauto; Ryan Schuknecht, Jon Harris, Dominick Foley, Doug Olson, Adam Kroksh, Tom Schroeder, Kyle Schroeder, Spencer Frankl and Tim Philips; Tim Blum, Wayne Blum, Monte Erks and Jeff Pilgrim and selections from our upcoming musical, “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.”

There will be humor when we laugh along with Retta Anderson as she presents her “Laughing With Grandma Retta.”

Karen Taylor-Mortensen will be taking the audience back in time with some “Deep Thoughts.”

All of this will be under the direction of Akron Opera House Board President Doug Olson, who is sure to interject some humor and deep thoughts of his own.
