Stowe hired as Burgess Health’s Performance Improvement Director

Rob Stowe has recently been hired as the new director of Performance Improvement at Burgess Health Center in Onawa, Iowa. He comes to Burgess with 17 years of healthcare experience.

Stowe holds a master’s degree in healthcare administration from the University of South Dakota, a bachelor’s degree in aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and graduated from Westwood High School in Sloan. He is a veteran of the U.S Air Force.

Most recently Stowe worked in Performance Improvement at Mercy Medical Center. In that capacity, he led initiatives to increase efficiency and patient satisfaction. He is also currently teaching a course in the School of Health Sciences at USD.

Stowe lives in Westfield with his wife Kim. She is currently finishing her nurse practitioner degree. They have four children.

Burgess Health Center, located in Onawa, is an award winning critical access hospital that is accredited by the State of Iowa. Burgess Family Clinics serve the communities of Dunlap, Sloan and Mapleton in Iowa as well as Decatur, Neb. Burgess has retail family pharmacies in Dunlap and Whiting, Iowa.
