The Akron community is seeking silent auction items for the Jennifer and Joby Beavers family of Akron.

Joby suffered injuries in an automobile accident just after noon Jan. 18 near Jefferson, S.D. He is unable to work at this time. Jennifer, the daughter of Butch and Debbie Anderson of Akron, is a 1998 Akron-Westfield alumnus and is employed at Heyl Truck Lines in Akron. Joby, the son of Brad and Connie Beavers of Jefferson, S.D., graduated from Dakota Valley High School in 1995 and works at Link in Sioux Center. They have two children: a son, Ean, and a daughter, Ryenn.

A benefit noon meal, silent auction and bake sale are being planned for Sunday, April 28 at St. Patrick’s Fellowship Hall in Akron.
