Now, the City of Westfield has two “spots” on Plymouth County’s Barn Quilt Tour map. They have two barn quilts — a Sun Bonnet Sue and a Fisherman’s Boy. The barn quilts were donated in memory of Councilor Marion Ross who loved to quilt. They are hung on the west side of the Plymouth County Loess Hills Visitors Center on Union Street, which is the town’s main street. Not only can residents enjoy them as they sit in the adjacent native prairie garden, tourists can stop and see the barn quilts and tour the visitors center. For more information or to tour the visitor’s center, contact Westfield City Hall at 568-2631.
