At the June 11 Plymouth County Supervisors meeting a public hearing was held on a budget amendment for the Fiscal Year 2012 – 2013.
“We did not receive any objections, written or otherwise,” said Auditor Stacey Feldman. “We only do it if we need to do it.”
Supervisors voted 5-0 to approve a $691,171 overall change in the 2012-2013 budget, which ends June 30, from a reserve of $3.50 million.
In other business:
• Supervisors gave County Engineer Rohe permission to continue with bid letting for culvert work at Tamarack and Key Avenues. Bids will be opened at the June 18 supervisors’ meeting.
• Feldman said work continues on the north side of the courthouse so that entrance is closed. Schnoover Inc. continues tuck pointing the building’s exterior. There have been some weather delays but there is no hard deadline. The east and south sections are done. The north section needs the most work.
• Plymouth County supervisors meet each Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. in the Plymouth County Courthouse, first floor board room, 215 Fourth Ave. SE in Le Mars. Meetings are open to the public.
