The Fall” by J.M. McDole and “Gods, Monsters and Mutants” by John Mosby; 1 to 3 p.m., Historical House, Avenue H and 8th Street open; 4:30 p.m., Tri-State Cruisers Car Show, Community Center Parking Lot, all classic vehicles welcome; 5 to 6:30 p.m., Hawarden’s BBQ Throw Down, Community Center & Pavilion; 5 p.m., Demolition Derby at Fairgrounds Complex; 7:30 to 11 p.m., Rumbles Concert at Community Center Pavilion, free admission, no outside coolers, beer garden will be on site.; 8:00 p.m. to 1 a.m., Benefit Street Dance, Ledfoot Lucy Band, Sportsmans Lanes and Lounge fundraiser for Ariyanna Miller & The American Cancer Society; 9 p.m., Fireworks display, West Sioux High School Practice Field.

7:30 a.m., to 10 a.m., Community Reformed Church Pancake Breakfast, Community Center; 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Calliope Village activities; 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Historical House open at Avenue H and 8th Street; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Craft Fair at Central Avenue Park; 10 a.m., Boy Scouts Food Stand, open shelter Central Avenue Park; 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Trinity Lutheran hamburger stand at Trinity parking lot to benefit Duane Schiefen and Lauren Ruhland; 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., United Methodist Church food stand at swimming pool concession area; 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Baptist Church pie-a-la-mode at church grounds; 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Baptist Church Family Carnival at church grounds.
At 1 p.m., the Kiddie Parade will take place with line-up at 12:30 p.m., at Hawarden Public Library’s parking lot; the Grand Parade will be the Parade Route from Central Avenue to 16th Street starting at 1:15 p.m.
Park activities following the parade include petting zoo; Mariachi Band; Climbing Wall; Shrine Clowns; Mini Train Rides and inflatables and laser tag.
