Ebenezer Scrooge, Jacob Marley, Bob Cratchit, Tiny Tim, and the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Yet to Come, are characters we have come to love and welcome into our homes and hearts.

This Christmas Season, the Hawarden Public Library and Hawarden Area Arts Council is proud to present actor Duffy Hudson bringing those characters to life without the aid of props or costumes. Hudson will portray over 30 characters.

The program based on Charles Dicken’s “A Christmas Carol” will take place on Dec. 14 at 1:30 p.m. in the Hawarden Community Center. This 75-minute show is ideal for the entire family.

The program is presented free of charge but there will be a spot for donations, so that programs such as this can continue in the community.

Duffy Hudson performed to rave reviews in October when he portrayed Edgar Allan Poe in Hawarden.

Call the Hawarden Library at 712-551-2244 for more information.
