West Sioux Elementary School, in Ireton, grades Pre-K to first, celebrated Fall Festival Nov. 27 with a Thanksgiving theme.

Transition Kindergarten students wore feathers in their hats that were donated by area hunters.

Cones filled with goodies were a donation from Bodeans of Le Mars.

Students played games such as Gourd Shuffle, Log Toss and Candy Corn Relay then sat in two large groups, mixed as pilgrims and Native-Americans. School was dismissed an hour early for Thanksgiving break Nov. 27.

Wearing pheasant feathers included Braylan Lopez, Angel Garza, Leandro Lopez, Cooper Anderson and Yatzari Mora.
