Alum receives ‘Cardinal Key’ honor

Kate (Katherine) Anne Tindall was inducted into the Iowa State University Cardinal Key, “the highest All-University Honorary at Iowa State University” on Sunday, April 13. The ceremony was conducted in the Reiman Ballroom of the Alumni Center in Ames.

The Cardinal Key selects one-half of 1 percent of the senior class and one-third of the 1 percent of the junior class for membership based on the virtues of leadership, scholarship, and character.

Kate is a junior at Iowa State University majoring in journalism and mass communication and political science, with a minor in economics. She is researcher and archivist for the Carrie Chapman Catt Center for Women and Politics and an intern and production assistant at Ames Channel 12.

Kate, an Akron-Westfield Class of 2011 graduate, is the daughter of Clark and Nancy Tindall of rural Le Mars.
