Accordion music will fill “Old Central” Gym at the Plymouth County Historical Museum for the 12th annual Art Pahl Accordion Fest at 2:00 p.m. this Sunday, April 27.

Art Pahl volunteered his accordion playing at many community events. His nephew, Sebastian Pahl, will be among the players.

Helen Moffatt of Akron, who has been one of Plymouth County’s few players for several years, will be honored. Tentative plans also call for honoring Akron Lions Club’s Citizens of the Year, Kelly and Denise Beitelspacher from the town and Rodney Anderson from the country.

The Fest will begin with a group rehearsal from 1:00 to 1:30 p.m. Anyone who would like to play in the Fest should contact the Museum immediately by calling (712)-546-7002 or (712)-539-0223. Accordion players also may email the Museum at pchmuseum@gmail.com.
