Akron alum named collegiate ‘Student Ambassador of Year’

On April 30, an Akron-Westfield alum was named by Morningside College officials as their Student Ambassador of the Year.

In addition, Allison Kjar, daughter of Joni Noble and Keith Kjar, has achieved several other noteable achievements during her junior year at Morningside.

Kjar was a member of the Junior Homecoming Royalty and served as a Graduation Marshal.

She is a member of the Omicron Delta Kappa Honor Society and was on the academic Dean’s List.

Kjar will have an internship in the college’s Admissions Office this fall.

She currently works at Morningside as an Orientation Student Assistant (OSA) and as a Student Ambassador in the Admissions Office.

Kjar will graduate in May 2015 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an Emphasis in Marketing and Management, a Minor in Psychology and a coaching endorsement.

She also teaches dance at the Akron Dance Depot and is the 2014 Akron Swimming Pool manager.
