Singing duo enjoys sharing their music

Paul Burnett, with his guitar and his singing, has been involved in music for the past 49 years. Originally from Sioux City, Paul and his wife Colette, have resided in Le Mars for the past nine years. Paul and Colette have been nominated to be inducted into the Hall of Fame of the National Traditional Country Music Association (NTCMA) on August 26, 2014, at the Old Time Country Bluegrass Festival.

Carolyn Davis Clark is originally from Kingsley and has resided in Le Mars for the past four years. Carolyn has always enjoyed singing and recently accepted the invitation to sing with Paul.

“PAUL and CAROLYN” enjoy singing at Lally’s in Le Mars at the Tuesday Night Jam Sessions. They also entertain at the South Sioux City Senior Center, and perform for the residents of the Floyd Valley Apartments in Le Mars. Paul’s wife, Colette, is their No. 1 fan.

On June 1, “PAUL and CAROLYN” will open for Bob and Sheila Everhart, Dale Eichor and Jay Kelly in Le Mars at Lally’s. They will also perform the last week of August at the Old Time Country Music Bluegrass Festival.

The Country Dinner Dances will all be held on the third Friday of every month at the Le Mars Senior Center.

“PAUL and CAROLYN” enjoy sharing their musical talents with everyone, and extend a warm welcome to come and have a good time with them.
