June 6: Sharon Lyn Schmidt, age 26, of Sioux City, was arrested at the Woodbury County Jail and transported to the Plymouth County Jail on a warrant for Probation Revocation original charges were the following: Controlled Substance Violation, Prohibited Acts and Manufacture-Delivery of a Controlled Substance. Bond was set at $10,000 cash or surety.

June 5: A Plymouth County Sheriff’s Office deputy arrested three individuals for drug charges. A Plymouth County Sheriff’s Office deputy stopped a vehicle at County Road C-16 and K-64 north of Oyens for traffic violations. The driver, Joseph Michael Quezada Sierra, age 18, of Sioux City, was arrested for Possession of Marijuana 1st Offense (serious misdemeanor); Possession of a Controlled substance with Intent to Deliver (Class D Felony); and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (simple misdemeanor). Bond was set at $5,000. Passenger Robert Lee Bradham, age 22, of Sioux City, was arrested for Possession of Marijuana 1st offense (serious misdemeanor). Bond was set at $1,000. A 17-year-old passenger, of Sioux City, was cited into juvenile court and released to her mother for Possession of Marijuana 1st offense (serious misdemeanor).

June 5: A Plymouth County Sheriff’s Office deputy arrested Donald Nicholaus McCormick, age 23, of Sioux City, for Driving whole Barred (aggravated misdemeanor). McCormick drove his vehicle to the Plymouth County Sheriff’s office in an attempt to assist his juvenile sister with a drug charge. McCormick was found to have a barred driver’s license and was arrested. The defendant was jailed at Plymouth County Jail in Le Mars and bond was set at $2,000.

June 8: A Plymouth County Deputy Sheriff arrested Bradley Allen Clay, age 31, of Sioux City, on a Plymouth County warrant for Fail to Appear on an original charge of two counts of Election Misconduct first offense. Clay was held on a $5,000 bond.

June 9: the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Office performed a traffic stop on a vehicle on Highway 75 north of Hinton at about 10 p.m. As a result of that stop, Taylor Hovinga, age 20, of Le Mars, was arrested for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Jacob Ronald Beckstrom, age 22, of Pierson, was placed under arrest for Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Offense. They were both transported to the Plymouth County Jail.

June 14: at about 2 a.m., the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Office arrested Kimberly Ann Jester, age 21, of Le Mars, for OWI 1st offense, a serious misdemeanor. The defendant was stopped on Iowa Highway 75 in Hinton for failure to yield to emergency vehicles that were on the side of the roadway investigating an accident. The defendant was found to be intoxicated and was arrested. The defendant was jailed at the Plymouth County Jail and bond was set at $1,000.
