LE MARS — On Saturday, April 11, the 39th annual Friends of Gehlen Catholic Ball will celebrate under the glow of “Friday Night Lights” at the Le Mars Convention Center. 

This year’s event is hosted by General Chairs Brad and Sarah Cave, along with Tyler and Kylie Petty.

Corey Gacusana passed away on March 18th of 2026 at the Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Scotland, South Dakota following a long-term illness. A celebration of life will be held March 28th, at 10:00 am at Roseni Lutheran Church in the downstairs fellowship hall. Burial to be done at a later date.
