On July 22, Casey Jacobs accepted the role of the new director for the Akron Children's Center. She has big goals and is making big moves to improve the care her team can offer to the Akron-Westfield area.

Oliver Alm, 10, of Akron, has been selling lemonade during the past three summers, often doing so in sweltering heat.

He admits that at first, selling lemonade was just a quick and honest way to make money. It was either selling lemonade or doing yard work.

The trio hosted a New Horizons United Church of Christ event, held at the Wesley United Methodist Church.
