Last week in our article on the Akron City Council, a statement was read during the meeting that claimed that the Akron City Clerk was behind on financial reports regarding the Akron Public Library. Due to the audio from the meeting getting compressed during transfer, I mistook the statement to be about the Library Director being behind on the reports.

On September 19, the administrator of the Akron Care Center (ACC) Patricia Raasch submitted her resignation to the ACC Board. Raasch resigned of her own accord and the board accepted the request, looking to the future.
