Countless hours of preparation, research, and building accurate presentations of events in our nation’s history will lead 37 Akron-Westfield students to the National History Day (NHD) State Competition at the end of April in Ames.

The War Eagle Conference held their academic banquet on Mar. 25 at Trinity Christian High School to honor students who are academically in the top 5% of their class.

Eleven Westerners earned the honor this year.
